LA Home Ownership Up

Louisiana is ahead of national averages when it comes to homeownership. U.S. Census data shows that 67% of occupied houses in Louisiana are owned by their residents. That's higher than the national average of under 65%. LSU sociology professor Troy Blancard has crunched the Census numbers. He says real estate and land prices in our state tend to be lower than other states.
