LA Music Hall Of Famer Doug Kershaw Visits KPEL

Member of the Grand Ole Opry, The Louisiana Hayride and the Louisiana Music Hall Fame Doug Kershaw visited on 'Mornings With Ken and Bernie' today to discuss his career and upcoming appearance tonight.

Kershaw has headlined with legends of country and rock music from Johnny Cash to Bob Dylan and Eric Clapton but he says the greatest thrill was bringing his heritage to the world stage.  Kershaw said,

"I came from a time when it was shameful to call yourself Cajun and I helped to change that with my music."

With a career spanning five decades, performing around the world Kershaw will bring his still electrifying show to the Pavillion at Cypress Bayou Casino tonight.  Tickets are still available at ticketmaster.com.
