LA Prisons Facing Layoffs

State Corrections Secretary  Jimmy LeBlanc sent a memo to wardens at
five state prisons, ordering them  to  ready for layoffs.Leblanc told wardens across the state to be prepared in case the Senate agrees to budget cuts proposed by  the  House.  The  House is proposing $27.5 million in cuts.
