LA Senator Elbert Guillory Gains National Attention – Makes Video Explaining Party Switch

Louisiana Senator Elbert Guillory of Opelousas is making national headlines after his recent switch of party affiliation from Democrat to Republican.

After a flurry of requests from national media outlets for interviews and explanations, outspoken now Republican Senator recorded a Youtube video explaining the switch.

In his video speech, Guillory highlights the history of the Republican party as well illustrates his distaste for government welfare and entitlement programs; which Guillory believes have hurt rather than helped black Americans.
