La Tech Answers System Move Rumors

Since legislators opted to move UNO to the University of Louisiana System, there's speculation this could pave the way for Louisiana Tech to move from the ULS into the LSU System. In a letter to students, faculty, and community members, Tech President Dan Reneau says talks are just informal at this point. He says certain conditions must be met before a proposal would be considered, such as not changing the name of the school, retaining the campus in Ruston, and keeping the Bulldog and Lady Techster athletic team names.
