Many Lafayette and Acadiana area students are having their artwork displayed in the Governor's Mansion for the month of April. Two 8th grade students from Our Lady of Fatima School in Lafayette, two 8th grade students from Erath Middle School and three students from Our Mother of Peace in Church Point are being recognized by First Lady Supriya Jindal.

“The artwork for the month of April certainly captures the essence of summertime in Louisiana," says First Lady Jindal. "Through their artwork, these young Louisiana students truly illustrate common pastimes in the South. With their skillful interpretations of beach trips, sunny days, and wild life adventures, these young artists cheerfully celebrate their excitement for summer.”
