Lafayette Armed Robbery Ends In Shooting

A Lafayette armed robbery victim is recovering after being shot Tuesday night. Lafayette City Police responded to a call in the 200 block of Verot School Road Tuesday night and discovered a man who had been robbed and shot in a struggle with a gunman. The victim said he was walking to his vehicle when he was confronted by an armed black male whom he struggle with. During the struggle the victim was shot and the suspect took items from the victim and fled.
