Lafayette To Be Represented At American Idol Auditions [VIDEO]

American Idol is hosting auditions in New Orleans on September 14, 2017, and it appears that Lafayette will be well-represented.

This video of a young man wearing a Lafayette High shirt has surfaced on Facebook and by the sounds of it, he’s going places.

All that we know so far is that his name is Caleb—And he can sing! He reportedly won a local contest to skip the line at auditions and it appears that he is ready to show Idol what he’s got.

American Idol is hosting their auditions in NOLA at the New Orleans Memorial Center this Thursday. We wish Caleb and all from the area the best of luck when they stand before the judges.

Could the next American Idol come from Acadiana? Let’s wait and see.
