Lafayette ATV Crash Kills One

In the early morning hours today emergency personnel from Lafayette Parish received a call about an ATV crash. Deputies responded to the call and discovered the body of 40 year old Ronnie Thibodeaux of Cankton. Investigators determined that the ATV Thibodeaux was riding left the road in the 500 block of Wagon Trail Road for unknown reason and struck a tree.

Thibodeaux was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigation of the accident is ongoing.
