LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- One of the people accused of selling children for sex has turned himself in to police.

According to Trpr. Stephen Hammons with Louisiana State Police, 19-year-old Alcoby Con LaSalle turned himself in shortly after 11 a.m. Wednesday. He was booked without incident for trafficking children.

LaSalle's alleged accomplice, 22-year-old Darneesha Lashay Martin, still has a warrant out for her arrest, Hammons said. Martin is described as being a black female weighing 116 pounds and is 5-foot-6. She has black hair which may be dyed red, police said.

"The investigation focused on combating trafficking of children for sexual purposes and to recover juvenile victims from sexual exploitation," Hammons said.
