Lafayette City Police Searching For Convenience Store Robbery Suspect

According to Lafayette City Police a black male with a t-shirt pulled over his head and armed with a handgun robbed a convenience store in the 2900 block of Verot School Road.  A store employee said the robber entered the store at approximately 6:40AM and demanded money.  The clerk was not injured and the suspect fled on foot.

Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call the Lafayette Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
