Lafayette Detectives Investigating Shooting During A Home Invasion

Lafayette Police were called out to the 1100 block of Dulles Drive last night around 11 o'clock after a man called them to say that two men kicked in his front door.

The victim says when he walked into his hallway one of the suspects fired a shot at him hitting him in the shoulder.

The victim told police that the two men then stole electronics and a cell phone before leaving his the home.

The 29-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

Police says the suspects were described as two black males wearing masks and armed with handguns.
