New Halliburton Plant To Help Lafayette Economy[Audio]

A new Halliburton Manufacturing facility will be opening on Pont Des Mouton across from Northpark Industrial Park.
The new 65 million dollar facility will produce oil field equipment.
The manufacturing plant will create 150 new jobs with an annual payroll of more than eight million dollars.
and it will create 250 construction jobs. The new Halliburton plant will be built on forty acres of land. Greg Gautreaux with LEDA tells KPEL's Suzanne Ferrara why the new facility is so important to our local economy.
