“Lafayette Food Junkie Show” Nominated Once Again For TASTE Awards

In such a short time, the "Lafayette Food Junkie Show" has been garnering so much recognition across the nation.

“The Lafayette Food Junkie Show” with Tiffiany Decou may only be three years old, but it’s now also a three-time nominee for The Taste Awards, or the Tasty's.

According to organizers, the national award competition honors achievements in Food, Fashion, Home and Lifestyle programs on Television, in Film, Online, on Radio and at Live Interactive Events.

The 8th Annual Taste Awards will feature the best of the best and showcases some of the biggest names in the lifestyle programming industry. The Lafayette Food Junkie is nominated for BEST CRITIC OR REVIEW SERIES alongside shows such as THE CHEW and CALIFORNIA WINE COUNTRY with STEVE JAXON (full list of nominees below). It's also nominated for BEST RADIO BROADCAST (full list of nominees below). It’s the third year the show, hosted by Tiffiany Decou, has been given a nod for how it explores Acadiana culture in cooking. Decou has perfected the art of tasting and explaining how food helps make up the fabric of the area. She invites many of the areas biggest names in the restaurant world to the KPEL studio weekly.
