Lafayette Grand Jury Indicts Rape Suspect

LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- A Carencro man accused of a  2011 rape has been indicted by a grand jury.

KATC TV-3 reports that Carl Delhomme was indicted on once count of aggravated rape of a victim under the age of 13.

An arraignment date has not been set. If convicted, Delhomme faces a sentence of life in prison.
