Lafayette Hospital For Sale

For sale: a 263-bed hospital and 25-acre medical campus in Lafayette. Asking: $36 million.Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, which is moving to a new campus this month, put its old St. Landry Street location on the market Wednesday.

The complex has 15 buildings, including the main seven-story hospital, a convent, several surrounding buildings and three parking towers.

The sale also includes about 9 acres of undeveloped property around the medical center.

Latter & Blum real estate agent Rich Stone, who is handling the property, says the $36 million dollar asking price is well below the replacement cost of the hospital complex.
