Lafayette House Fire Ruled Arson

Lafayette Firefighters were called out to a house fire in the 100 block of Washington Street at 5:24 this morning.

When firefighters arrived they found a home completely engulfed in flames. The home was under construction and was completely destroyed. Investigators determined the fire started inside the home and was intentionally set. Anyone with information about the blaze is asked to call Crimestoppers at 232-TIPS.
