Lafayette Lawyer Sentenced To 121 Months In Prison

57 year old attorney Daniel James Stanford was sentenced to 121 months in prison today for his part in a conspiracy to distribute synthetic drugs and money laundering. Stanford was found guilty at trial on August 29, 2014. In addition to the prison time Stanford was also ordered to serve six years supervised release. In September of 2012 Curious Goods LLC, Standford and other conspirators were charged in a 16 count indictment.
