On today's edition of Lafayette Live with Lafayette City Parish President Joey Durel, Bernadette and Ken Romero got to talk to Youngsville Mayor Wilson Viator about the one cent sales tax on the ballot Saturday that would be used for a Sports Complex.

Youngsville voters will have to decide this Saturday whether to pass a tax to fund a Sports Complex. Young's Industries has pledged to donate 70 acres of land for a sports complex for Youngsville, and on the ballot this Saturday is a one-cent sales tax that would be used to pay for building the facility.

The project would be comprised of several baseball, soccer and football fields along with lighted tennis courts and a walking trail. Inside the facility would be basketball courts, a work-out room and meeting rooms. If the voters approve the measure, the sports complex could be completed by the end of 2013.
