Lafayette Man Arrested In Burglary Turned Drug Bust
Scott Police have arrested Lamar Stiner of Lafayette for allegedly stealing over $1,800 from his job last week. Authorities say during questioning, Stiner admitted to using the stolen money to buy marijuana.
Investigators say they were able to recover $350 in cash as some of the money stolen as well as 20 plastic bags of the illegal drug. The recovered drugs are estimated to be worth $1,300 in street value. Officers say they are still trying to recover some of the stolen money. Additional charges may be filed.
