OPELOUSAS, La. (KPEL) -- A tip from both the Calcasieu and St. Landry Parish Sheriff's Office has led to the arrest of a Lafayette man on drug charges.

Opelousas Police say the tip suggested there was a shipment of illegal drugs on its way to a home in Opelousas.

The police department's Crime Suppression Unite conducted surveillance on the home, and after a brief investigation, conducted a search of the home.

Inside, police found four vacuum packed bags of hydroponic marijuana worth an estimated $64,000.

36-year-old Myron Williams was arrested and charged with possession with intent distribute a schedule one drug.
