Lafayette Man Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

A man is caught with nearly $5,000 worth of drugs. Lafayette Authorities arrested Darnelle Junies Charles yesterday after getting several complaints of drug activity in a home on 922 South Sterling Street. In addition to crack cocaine, marijuana and liquid codeine, police say they found a .45 caliber handgun with obliterated serial numbers and a large amount of cash.
