Law enforcement authorities are confirming the arrest of a suspect in the University of Louisiana at Lafayette bomb threat case.  30-year-old Devin Haywood has been arrested for the bomb threat and he's been linked to an attempted robbery of MidSouth bank as the bomb threat investigation was getting underway last Wednesday.

Haywood appeared before US Magistrate Judge Patrick Hanna today and was officially charged. If convicted Haywood faces 10 years in prison and three years supervised release for the bomb threat charge and he faces 20 years in five with five years of supervised release for the attempted bank robbery charge. Both charges carry a fine of $250,000.
