Lafayette Man Dies In Weekend Crash

A 25-year-old man is dead following a weekend crash in a Lafayette neighborhood.
Cpl. Paul Mouton, a Lafayette Police Department spokesperson, says the man was driving his 2007 black Nissan east on East Martial Avenue when for unknown reasons, he drove off the left side of the road. After striking several objects, Mouton says the vehicle flipped onto its roof.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified at 25-year-old Sean Scott Tennant.
The crash remains under investigation.
