Lafayette Man Fatally Injured In Motorcycle Wreck

LAFAYETTE, La. (AP) — A Lafayette man has died after a motorcycle accident.

State police say 29-year-old Ronald Bellard was driving a motorcycle on Louisiana Highway 93 late Wednesday when he struck a curb and was thrown off the vehicle.

Bellard was hospitalized with severe injuries. State police were informed Thursday morning that he had died.

The crash remains under investigation.
