Lafayette Police say they are searching for the people responsible for shooting a 29-year-old man last night around 10:45 p.m. in the 400 block of Delahoussaye Street.

Officers say after the man was shot, he was able to get to a nearby home, and they called police for him.

The victim was taken to an area hospital were he is listed in critical condition.

The Lafayette Police Department believes they are searching for two black males who possibly fled the area in a silver or gray 4 door vehicle with tinted windows.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspects to call Lafayette Police or Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
