Lafayette Man Is Dead After Bar Fight

Lafayette Police responding to a call at the 3900 block of Moss Street last night found Lucas Fargo Jr. of Lafayette on the floor of the business.

Lafayette Police determined a fight occurred at the bar last night, Sunday, March 3, around 9:30 p.m. when Fargo sustained his injuries.

Investigators say Fargo was taken to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Police have arrested and charged 37-year-old Jay Lane of Sunset with 2nd degree murder. The case remains under investigation.
