Lafayette Man Pleads Guilty – Possession Of Stolen Firearms

39 year old Rico D. King of Lafayette pleaded guilty today to one count of possessing stolen firearms in front of U.S. District Judge Richard Haik. After developing leads to various thefts a search warrant was executed in September of 2014 at King's home. During the search agents found eight stolen weapons. King faces up to 10 years in prison, three years of supervised release and a $250,000 fine. A date has not been set for sentencing.
