Lafayette Man Shot On Voorhies Street

Lafayette Police were called out to the 800 block of Voorhies Street early this morning to deal with a shooting.

Officers found a 24-year-old man suffering from two gunshot wounds.

Witnesses told police the victim was outside of the house when some unknown suspect or suspects shot him twice.

The victim went inside to get help, while the suspect or suspects fled.

The victim is considered to be in moderate condition this morning and Lafayette Police are asking anyone with information to call them or Lafayette Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
