Lafayette Man With .238% Blood Alcohol Arrested In St.Mary Parish

A Lafayette man was arrested just before noon yesterday on Highway 90 by a St. Mary Parish Sheriff's deputy for DWI.

The St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office reports a deputy patrolling the Franklin area noticed 56-year-old David Thompson commit a traffic infraction.

The deputy was able to stop Thompson on Highway 90 in Iberia Parish.

He was charged with improper lane usage and driving while intoxicated after he blew a .238% on a breathalyzer test.
