Lafayette Narcotics Force Nets Drug Haul

Monday Lafayette Metro Narcotics agents executed a search warrant at a house at 713 Harrell Drive in Lafayette and arrested four people. Police seized cocaine and marijuana valued at $15,760, computers, firearms including one assault rifle and a vehicle used for transporting illegal contraband. According to Capt. Wayne Prejean four people were arrested including 36 year old Jason Broom of Lafayette and 37 year old Casey Derrenger of Portland, Oregon. Two other people, one from New York and another from Nebraska were taken into custody and later released.
