Lafayette Nominated for Best Southern College Town

We are always up for a challenge - especially when it concerns a 'Best Of' poll.

UL Lafayette, along with the city of Lafayette, are up for 'Best Southern College Town' in the new issue of Garden & Gun magazine. The voting is supposed to be in conjunction with the March madness brackets, so this is cool, for sure.

According to the criteria set up by Garden & Gun , the nominations included 'towns that are home to big football dynasties, tight-knit academic communities, and even military and art schools.'

Well, we qualify for awesomeness here in Acadiana, for sure. So, get your votes in for Lafayette/ULL in Round 1 before March 20 at 11:59 pm.

Round 2 will be announced the next day - Geaux Cajuns! Geaux Lafayette!
