Lafayette Consolidated Government Organizes Healing Event For Community

The Lafayette Consolidated Government has announced that they will host a community-wide healing event for this Thursday evening in Lafayette. 

The event will be held at the Blackham Coliseum, in Lafayette, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This event will honor the lives of those lost in the Grand Theatre shooting last week, and it will also honor all other victims and first responders.

The event will appropriately by titled,"Lafayette Strong: Unite. Honor. Heal" City-Parish President Joey Durel says, "We wanted to create a venue for healing."

The public is invited attend this event in the Blackham this Thursday evening.
