After an internal investigation Correctional Deputy Megan Huval has been terminated from her position and faces criminal charges. The Sheriff's office had launched an investigation targeting Huval and an inmate with surveillance cameras to monitor them.

Detectives retrieved the cameras and discovered they were missing memory cards. Huval and inmate Jerrod Brasher were interviewed and it was determined that Brasher removed the memory cards and gave them to Huval to destroy. This was done in an attempt to hide policy violations that they were involved in.

Huval has been terminated and she has been charged with malfeasance in office, obstruction of justice and theft. Brasher has been charged with obstruction of justice.
