Lafayette Parish School Board To Hold First Meeting Of Year Tonight

The Lafayette Parish School Board holds its first meeting of the New Year tonight. The nine-member panel is expected to select a new board president and vice president.  It will also be the first of several days that new Superintendent Pat Cooper plans to work this month as he completes his work with an educational foundation in New Orleans.  He begins his new job full-time next month.
