Lafayette Parish School Superintendent Search Continues

The pool of candidates for the next superintendent of Lafayette Parish public schools has increased to 13 as William Butler officially added his name to the mix.
Butler has 26 years of educational experience but has never served as superintendent.

The school board is looking to find a new superintendent before the contract of Burnell Lemoine expires at the end of the year.

The deadline to apply for the superintendent position is Sept. 12.
