Lafayette Police Arrest Three For Suspected Burglary

Lafayette Police arrest three people after a suspected burglary early this morning.

Just past midnight Lafayette Police responded to a burglary alarm at a home on Saint Benjamin Drive. Police says three suspects were seen inside the home, with one of the suspects attempting to run away. Police says during the attempt to run away, Martez Citizen allegedly pointed a handgun at one of the officers on the scene. Citizen along with Ronald Lewis and Kelsey Mire, all of Church Point were arrested. Police are still investigating.
