Lafayette Police Bust 24 In Prostitution Sting

This past Friday and Saturday nights Lafayette City Police conducted a prostitution sting operation in the 1400 block of Cameron Street.

Friday night, September 6th six women were arrested and charged with solicitation of prostitution and one man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.

On Saturday night, September 7th, 16 men were arrested and charged with solicitation for prostitution and another man was arrested for interfering with duties of a police officer.
