Lafayette Police Crackdown On Underage Drinking

  Lafayette police hit eleven downtown bars over the weekend.  They handed out eighteen citations to people under the age of twenty-one drinking alcohol.  Of those Jefferson Street bars they checked , police found no violations or underage drinkers at Karma, Shakers and Frankies.  Corporal Paul Mouton tells KPEL news police will continue random checks at area bars to tackle underage drinking.
