Lafayette Police Department Conduct Underage Alcohol Business Check

Last night, the Lafayette Police Department kept busy with an underage alcohol possession operation.

The operation entailed going to separate businesses on Jefferson street and checking the identification of patrons in the bar.

Eight locations were searched last night, and only 4 people were found in the bars with alcohol who were under the age of 21.

The locations that were searched and were clean are:

1.     The Office

2.     Legends

3.     The Green Room

4.     Frankie Burger

5.     City Bar

6.     Bootleggers

And two places were found with minor in possession of alcohol:

1.     Marley’s

2.     Nitetown
