Lafayette Police Host International Reserve Conference

Lafayette police are training dozens of volunteer police officers from around the world over the next few days. 

The police department was selected to host the reserve police officer associations conference because of the overall quality of the department.  Corporal Scott Rommel says volunteer police officers from across the country and from as far away as Hungary are here to receive training.
