Lafayette Police Identify Suspect In Armed Robbery

Police are looking for someone they think tried to rob a family at gunpoint in their car.
Lafayette Police believe a couple weeks ago, Leonta Clay climbed into the back of the victims’ car, demaning money at gunpoint. A brief struggle, followed by two gunshot striking the front windshield. In the front were a female and a six-year-old child. Clay then fled from the area.
