Lafayette Police Investigate Early Morning Armed Robbery

The Church's Fried Chicken on South West Evangeline Thruway was robbed this morning by two armed black men. The robbers forced three employees back into the building at approximately 12:30am and left the business with an undetermined amount of cash. There were no injuries reported. Anyone with information about the robbery or the identity of the suspects is asked to call the Lafayette Police Department or CrimeStoppers at 232-TIPS.
