Lafayette Police Investigate Eraste Landry Armed Robbery

Lafayette Police are investigating the armed robbery of a business on Eraste Landry Road.

According to police department spokesperson Cpl. Paul Mouton, the suspect walked into the store armed with a handgun and demanded money. The employee handed over an undisclosed amount of cash, Mouton said.

The suspect is believed to be driving a silver newer model Chevrolet Impala, Mouton said. He is described as a black male wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and a black bandana over his face.

No injuries were reported.
