Lafayette Police Investigate Mid-Day Armed Robbery

According to our news partner KATC a person was robbed at gunpoint at noon Thursday in the parking lot of Acadiana Comic and Collectibles. No injuries were reported but the victim is said to have had his wallet and cellphone taken by two men.

A short time after the robbery police stopped a vehicle near the Northgate Mall because the persons in the car could have been involved in the robbery. The investigation continues.
