LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- A Lafayette man has been treated for injuries following a shooting Tuesday night.

Cpl. Paul Mouton, a Lafayette Police Department spokesperson, says the 40-year-old male victim was walking down Martin Luther King Drive at about 10:40 p.m. when a group of four men approached him in a car.

The victim says one of the passengers got out of the car and shot him once in the arm before fleeing the scene.

The victim was taken to a Lafayette hospital. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 232-TIPS.
