Lafayette Police Investigate Two Separate Shootings

Lafayette police are investigating a shooting that occurred around two o'clock today in the nine-hundred block of North Bienville.  They found a man lying on the road with two gunshot wounds.  He's in critical condition.  Lafayette police caught the 21 year old suspect near the scene.

    The second shooting occured around ten o'clock last night in the three-hundred block of Madeline Street.  Police say a 22 year old man was shot in the arm.  The man brought himself to the hospital.  The motive is still under investigation.
