LAFAYETTE, La. (KPEL) -- 32-year-old Lonnie Poydras faces First Degree Robbery charges after turning himself in shortly after midnight Monday morning.

Lafayette Police Cpl. Paul Mouton says Poydras allegedly walked into the business on a 100 block of Arnould Boulevard wearing a hoodie and demanded money. The victims say Poydras never showed a weapon, but he kept one of his hands in his pocket during the robbery.

Poydras left the scene after being given an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say they continue to investigate.
