Lafayette Police Investigating Simcoe Street Homicide

The Lafayette Police Department was called out to the 1700 block of East Simcoe to find a man had been shot to death.

Police say the caller complained of hearing gunshots.

Details are very limited at this time as detectives are talking to witnesses, and they are canvassing the area.

Police will not be identifying the man's identity until they have notified his next of kin.
