Lafayette Police Looking For Accused Carjacker

Two carjacking incidents leaves one victim without a car. Lafayette Police responded to a distress call last night from a victim in the 200 block of High Meadows Boulevard who almost had her car stolen. The car jacker hit the victim and ran after she began screaming. The jacker then approached a second vehicle on the nearby street Heather Row  and stole it at gun point. The jacker is described as a 6 foot tall black man with dread locks and a thin build.
